About

The Dean Village Association (DVA) is a charity which was established in 1971 to represent the views and interests of residents of Edinburgh’s Dean Village on the banks of the Water of Leith. The aim of the Association is to make every effort to enhance the amenity of the Dean Conservation Area and thus improve the quality of life of village residents, whilst retaining the village’s unique character.

We publish the Dean Village News three or four times a year; the spring edition goes to all residents of the Dean Conservation Area, while the others are only delivered to DVA members.  We are working to provide an online historic archive of the DVN; please find what’s there so far on our Documents page.
